Morrison currently works as the Director of Cultural Arts for the Ossining Union Free School District, where he oversees the Music, Art, and Theater curricula and programs for the over 4,500 students in the Ossining Schools. He holds a Bachelors of Music degree in Music Education from the Fredonia School of Music at SUNY Fredonia, as well as a Masters Degree and an Advanced Diploma in Educational Leadership from Mercy College and The College of New Rochelle, respectively. Bradley Morrison is the founder, conductor, and director of YWEW. The ensemble is comprised of Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion students from all around Westchester County and represents students from over a dozen different area high schools. Youth Wind Ensemble of Westchester is an ensemble of highly motivated high school students interested in playing music from the Wind Ensemble/Concert Band literature. The registration fee for the 2021-2022 season will be $350 per student for the year. Students in the Junior Winds, grades 5-8, are expected to play at the equivalent of a NYSSMA level 2, and students in the Senior Winds, grades 9-12, are expected to play at the equivalent of a NYSSMA level 4 (you do not need to have participated in a NYSSMA festival to register for YWEW).

Our Junior Winds will meet from 5:00pm-6:30pm and the Senior Winds will meet from 7:00pm-9:00pm. We will be meeting at Ossining High School on Thursdays, as in the past. I'm happy to announce that we will be continuing with the Youth Wind Ensemble of Westchester for the 2021-2022 season, and our plan as of now is to meet in person for rehearsals.
